A Plugin Marketplace and Labs Section

I think the most useful addition would be a plugin system, maybe with a Labs section where people can easily browse, install, and enable community-made plugins. That would let users add features without making the core app feel bloated, while also showing you which ideas people actually want. If plugins are file-based, they should be fairly easy for users to install themselves, and the most popular, well-tested ones could eventually become official features. Some examples could be layers, grids and measurements, smarter diagrams, reusable objects, presentation mode, better drawing tools, tables, richer export options, widgets, Kanban boards, timelines, and 3D viewers, Scenes / saved canvas views, just to name a few.

youtube player: pasting a youtube link shows its open graph preview card, I would love to have the video inline. Although this does not play nice with user gestures, with the iframe taking over, so I get why you would not do that.

video files playing inline. That's where using a canvas becomes a pain. But it would be really nice if you could play videos inline in the canvas. We ended up using html for the canvas, not an actual canvas tag, precisely for this reason. This opens up a whole set of other issues regarding performances. But looking at TLDraw showed us this was doable, so we did.

Original file path for images (more source folders)

There is one feature I'd love you to look into which would be allowing for images to be embedded from current local file paths. Location/map pin

Subtasks on to-do/checklist

Hello! It would be nice to be able to add subtasks by pressing tab in to-do/checklists. Also would love to highlight and select all the tasks under the to-do list to edit or delete instead of having to highlight each one individually. Lastly, are there any future plans to add due dates to tasks? Thank you!

It often happens you start writing on the board and eventually have something big enough you think it deserves to be saved outside the board. Right now you have to copy/paste into a document. Many whiteboard apps allow you to convert and object to something different. In this case, a text/note element to a doc.

UX Basics: Align, distribute, pack

Apart from snap to grid, keyboard shortcuts for quickly organising a set of elements is table stakes in most canvas apps. Muse (now Allume) has a simple approach but quite useful. tldraw has a fantastic little command called Pack which aligns with a minimum default spacing.

UX Basics: Spacebar to open image(s) in Preview

In Freeform and many other Mac apps, when you press the spacebar it opens the selected object in Preview. If you have several images selected, then Preview will show left/right arrows at the top left allowing you to cycle through all the images you are Previewing. If you have several similar images in a moodboard and you want to quickly flip between them because you have to choose one for a project, this helps you compare them.

Ability to flip image and select multiple file at once

I been using visualos for a while to sort my reference on my phone, i think it would be nice to be able to select multiple file/picture at once and also ability to flip them easily
