In Allume, I can select several link cards, copy them and paste in an external text editor and all links are pasted as:
Since I can so easily get all those links out of Allume, I’m not afraid to use Allume for some visual bookmarking, research, dashboards... There is no threat of being locked in. And so my love for its ease of use is what keeps me hooked.
However, Allume makes a mistake. If I want to do it the other way around: grab a list of links from a text editor and paste them all as cards on the canvas in one go, it pastes them as plain text. Even if there is no other text than URLs.
The pattern of one link per line is not hard to programatically detect. It would be nice to be able to grab a bunch of links from our bookmarking tools, our notetaking apps, etc. and paste them on the canvas knowing it will just work.
